Nicole Gammie 

Nicole is a textile artist combining handmade and designed bobbin lace with hand embroidery.  Learning and experimenting began early on with opportunities at school and in the community.  

Living around much of south-eastern Australia provided chances to investigate numerous lace and embroidery techniques detail opening up many possibilities.  Moving allowed Nicole to explore local environments inspiring her love of bright colours, geometry and nature.  

Numerous experiments followed and assisted the development of this mixed media technique.  These explorations continue allowing embellished lace to evolve with new ideas and possibilities inspired by nature and experiences.
